Parenting Arrangements in Australia are generally based on an informal Parenting Plan, which parents negotiate, often in Mediation. When parents have reached an agreement, Parenting Plans are typically formalised by means of getting Consent Orders, which are approved through the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.

In almost all cases, parents can reach an agreement through mediation, Family Dispute Resolution or good negotiations between both parties, with legal support as required. Please speak to us about which of these options will best suit your needs.

If you have reached a stage where court is necessary, or if your ex-partner has commenced legal proceedings, we can represent you in court and provide support and advice throughout the process. Please contact us to speak to us about how we can help.
